The restaurant
We offer our guests traditional Tuscan cooking, among the
specialities you can taste classic Tuscan antipasti: bruschetta, crostini,
affettati tipici, lardo di Colonnata, pappardelle al cinghiale or lepre
(wild rabbit), ribollita, a hearty stew of vegetables, beans and chunks of
bread and zuppa di farro, thick with spelt (a barley-like grain),
cinghiale con olive (wild boar), arista, roast pork loin stuffed with
rosemary and garlic, bistecca “alla fiorentina” (rare char-grilled steak),
grigliate miste, tasty local sheep’s milk pecorini and homemade cookies”
accompanied by excellent Chianti and Vernaccia di S. Gimignano.
