The hotel
Where you find us
We are in the heart of Tuscany between Volterra and San
Gimignano, 1 hour to Florence, Siena and Pisa, close to the Natural
Reserve “Monte Nero” (Black Mountain) where the water carved the “black
rock”, creating along its path suggestive shapes and waterfalls, among
green trees and rare Mediterranean vegetation and animals.
The origin
Il Palagetto was a roman post station of Caio Curzio – (who was a
councillor to Julius Ceasar) who gives the name to the village Cozzano
where travellers could rest along their way through the lonely ancient
towns
Thanks to the sympathetic renovation in keeping of the style and the
original materials, with stone Ceilings in cotto tiles and solid chestnut
beams. The two country houses have 3 star rating, these charming hotels
cater for the comforts of the contemporary traveller. |
